Turn the battle

Prayer and Fast – 21st – 23rd Jan 2026

Please have a look at the link and consider if/how you can be involved to pray and fast for a ‘turning of the battle’ in our context and also in the nation(s). https://www.turnthebattle.uk

Liberty – suggested prayer guide

  1. A time ‘set aside’ to draw close to the Lord. I think this is self-explanatory…
  2. A time to contend in prayer for our own context: town, region of Mid-Ulster, nation(s). A time to stand in the gap and to call forth God’s promises – as seen in Scripture! A time to pray for Liberty as a church!
  3. A time to step into the battle. We so often love our conveniences. Battle requires sacrifice. A time of consecration.
  4. A time to listen to the Holy Spirit, Scripture and respond! A time to deal with the ‘non-response’ factors (internal and external) that are resistors. A time to become part of the solution as gospel & Kingdom advancers, ‘joining the battle’
  5. A time to contend in prayer for our loved ones, our friends, colleagues, and for the incredible working of the Holy Spirit in both reviving God’s people and ‘awakening’ unbelievers.
  6. A time to pray that we will all be salt that savours and light that shines in our jobs and community – God works in both ordinary ways and at times in more extraordinary ways.

Simple guidelines – let’s be part of turning the battle!! Let’s pray!!
